Meet Lindsey, the founder of Satya & Sage Ayurvedic Health & Wellness.
Lindsey has been on her own wellness journey for as long as she can remember.
She spent a year eating the macrobiotic way, she explored the vegan lifestyle, and she was a vegetarian for 18 years.
Lindsey found Ayurveda 8 years ago during a time of transition, a time of growth and a time of uncertainty. It resonated with her from the very first moment. Ayurveda wasn’t asking for perfection, it was simply asking her to be aware of the journey, to have compassion for herself and to forgive herself often. Ayurveda is both a science and a spiritual approach to healing. It's a system of balance, one that encourages living in harmony (physiologically, psychologically, socially, & environmentally) and teaches compassion for oneself as well as those around us. Ayurveda understands that no one person is the same, it takes into consideration the unique qualities of each individual and uses those qualities to identify one's true physical and emotional nature known as one's Ayurvedic Constitution. Ayurveda truly became Lindsey’s safe space and she quickly realized that she needed to immerse herself in its knowledge so that she could share its beauty and intelligence with others. In 2018 Lindsey graduated from the California College of Ayurveda with her Ayurveda Health Counselor Certification and established Satya & Sage Ayurvedic Health & Wellness shortly there after. At Satya & Sage the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda is used to develop an individualized plan for each client that includes diet, nutrition, healing herbs & spices, meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, color therapy, sound therapy, and other holistic lifestyle practices as a guide on the journey back to wellness.
